All these technological advancements, and do unknown callers still continue to bother you? Like me, are you too afraid of answering a wrong call at the wrong time?
Well, if you are on the same ship, you may use WhoEasy to track phone numbers because it claims to fetch details about a caller, but is WhoEasy legit?
In this article, I will give you an insight into WhoEasy’s operations and analyze whether it is a trustworthy service for you or not.
Without further ado, let me clear all your doubts.
Is WhoEasy Legit?
WhoEasy is not legit service to track phone numbers and it is mostly ill-reputed across the internet. It is reported to have scammed people by luring them into memberships and leaving them with no option to unsubscribe. Oftentimes, it deducts unjust membership charges from people unannounced.
Also, it’s not BBB Accredited as well and there are so many negative reviews and fraud complaints against WhoEasy, which further disparages its credibility and trust-base.

So there is no easy way of saying that, WhoEasy is not legit.
Can You Really Track Someone’s Phone with WhoEasy?
WhoEasy is a phone directory that asserts to provide all relevant details of a user when we look up a number.
The service has information about almost every phone/ landline number registered in the U.S. It instantly fetches out the user’s name, his address, and available online links.
You just need to enter the number and WhoEasy does the investigative job for you.

Although WhoEasy has a weak client-base but there are some fortunate users who benefited from its services.
They were able to look-up the numbers, so it does track people’s phones.
WhoEasy Misleading Billing/Payments Complaints
WhoEasy’s users are outraged and they are making sure the internet knows, and people are warned.
Many people have negative reviews about WhoEasy. However, for the most part, it is the billing/payment issues faced by people.
Users complain that they did not wish to be WhoEasy users in the first place, they were somehow automatically subscribed. Subscription charges are withdrawn from people’s bank accounts unannounced.

Moreover, others file complaints that they were manipulated into membership and now they are having trouble unsubscribing to the service.
It is a complicated process and their customer service is not helpful.
Sadly enough, during my experience with WhoEasy, I also met some bank withdrawals out of the blue.
The insignificant amount might not have impacted my figures significantly, but I still find it to be very unethical and unprofessional.
WhoEasy Customer Service
WhoEasy claims to have a very efficient customer service. They suggest that their users are heard and responded to at all times.
However, research and personal experience with the site customer support aren’t good for me and others as well. I have found that people are raged and simply not happy with their customer service.
I could not get through for a petty issue regarding billing for days.
Users have trouble reaching out to customer service. When they finally connect to them, the service is disappointing, not prompt, nor very helpful.
However, they actively respond to online reviews just to show off the good customer support.
Is WhoEasy Safe To Use?
In light of the ignominy and online condemnation of the service on the internet, I would not declare WhoEasy as a safe service to use.
A website that deviously subscribes you, draws money from your bank account without any prior notification can’t be trusted.
I would not proclaim it to be safe and put you in an uneasy situation when I had an unpleasant experience myself and probably would not be using the service again.
Moreover, the membership process in its entirety is shady and has loopholes.
However, there is no clarity and confirmation as to if the WhoEasy uses our personal information such as name or bank details for other purposes but I never saw anyone reported regarding personal details except misleading billing tactics.
To each his own, but I’d personally rather be safe than be sorry.
Is WhoEasy Free?
WhoEasy is initially free to use for the first 7 days, however membership charges automatically after that. If you do not want to continue using their service, you need to unsubscribe within this 7-day trial period. WhoEasy will auto-subscribe you on the 8th day and draw charges from your account after that.

So, yes it is free for a short period of 7 days. Well, only if you are fortunate enough.
Besides that as I said, customers continue to face billing issues. So there is a lack of credibility about WhoEasy’s payment procedures.
How Much Does WhoEasy Cost?
WhoEasy does not have a defined amount mentioned on their website but it mostly cost $2.95 for one phone report. However, it offers two membership plans which range from $19 – $27 per month. The membership with 20 searches per month cost $19.95 whereas a plan with 30 searches costs $26.95 per month.

WhoEasy has extensive terms and conditions on the website. It has laid out the membership plans for customers but there is no defined amount mentioned.
Right after the 7-day free trial period, you will become a member automatically. You will be subscribed and have to bear the monthly membership charges, even if you are not willing to.
There are different types of membership plans being offered by WhoEasy.
However, oddly enough, the costs are not put-out for the public. There are automatic recurring charges monthly, and few services are to be paid for in advance.
The cost is said to be insignificant but also made without any official notification which instantly puts customers off and infuriates them.
How Do You Cancel WhoEasy?
According to the WhoEasy Terms, you can easily cancel your membership by logging in to your WhoEasy account and then:
- Click on the “My Account”.
- Click on the “Change Plan”.
- Now, check the box and click on “Cancel My Membership.”

However, it’s not true.
Their cancellation options are found to be misleading and customers are upset about unnotified transactions from their accounts. The process sometimes requires you to cancel each service individually via emails, which is way too much effort.
Is WhoEasy Worth It?
WhoEasy is not worth it in its entirety. It might be operational and occasionally helpful. But given our experience, the reviews on the internet and customers’ unpleasant experiences with them, I will not take the risk to use their service.
Despite continuous payment issues, even the accuracy of tracking is compromised at times. Therefore, I believe using it would cause further inconvenience in the matter of looking up phone numbers.
Conclusion
I hope you have found this WhoEasy review helpful and confirmed the answer to, Is WhoEasy legit? Safe? Trustworthy, and much more.
Weighing the pros and cons of WhoEasy, I do not see myself taking the risk to use their service again and you should also avoid using WhoEasy.
Also, customer’s bad experiences have just put me off further so I strongly recommend to avoid it at all cost.
Here is to hoping that we are introduced to a legit phone directory service soon, till then me and you are bound to do some legwork. Bummer!
